Who we are
Ripen Note Plus ("the App", "we", "us") is an iOS application that helps you track the ripeness of fruits and vegetables, predict when they are ready to eat or about to spoil, and reduce food waste. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
The App is provided by Valentina Ferreira.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal data. The App has no user accounts, no login, and no registration. You are never asked to provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use it.
Data you create inside the App
To do its job, the App stores the information you choose to enter, such as:
- Produce items and batches you add (e.g. avocados, bananas, tomatoes)
- Purchase dates, quantities, and notes
- Storage places (counter, fridge, paper bag, etc.)
- Ripeness checks and outcomes (eaten in time, discarded, used for cooking, etc.)
- App settings and preferences
This content is saved locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party.
How your data is stored
All of your information is stored on-device using the operating system's standard local storage. Because nothing leaves your device:
- We have no servers that hold your data.
- We cannot see, access, or recover your data.
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes its data from your device.
No tracking or analytics
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or cookies. We do not build user profiles and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
No network connection
Ripen Note Plus is designed to run entirely offline. The App does not send your produce logs, predictions, or any other content over the internet.
Children's privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for users of all ages.
Your control over your data
You are always in full control. Within the App you can edit or delete individual items, remove sample data, or clear all data at any time. Deleting the App removes all associated data from your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
